The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning keeps your slide roof clean and dry so you don’t have to sweep off leaves or worry about standing water before pulling the slide back in. It extends and retracts automatically with your slide-out, creating a barrier that blocks rain, twigs, and dirt from collecting on top. By preventing pooling water and debris buildup, it helps avoid seal damage, leaks, and mold.
Built to stand up to the weather, the awning fabric is made of premium 13.5-oz vinyl that won’t crack in cold temperatures down to -25°F. The heat-welded seams prevent leaks, giving extra protection against moisture. This durable material is designed for long-term outdoor use and stays flexible when the temperature drops.
This model fits slide-outs measuring 116" to 121" wide with up to a 48" extension. The awning rail measures 121" long, and the overall length including arms is 126". You’ll need 7" of clearance on both sides (or go down one size if space is tight), and two slide-outs side-by-side require at least 14" total clearance. The black fabric matches the included black hardware for a clean, uniform look.
Installation is straightforward using the supplied brackets, hardware, and awning rail—no extra parts to hunt down. The roller comes pre-assembled with the fabric already mounted, so you just secure the brackets, slide the roller into place, and mount the rail up to 5" above your slide trim. Once installed at the proper angle, rainwater drains off easily, keeping the awning tight and properly shaped for years of use.

Item arrived quickly and undamaged all parts and instructions were there and went together and on the slide-out easy with no hassles. I would recommend dealing with etrailer for all your needs when it comes to your r.v or whatever else you have ill definitely deal with them again
This was the first installation for me so I took time on the install and used the factory roof edge rail to attach the topper instead of one already in place or using the provided rail. This gained me about a half inch more height for better drainage.
Received quickly and in decent shape though the tube ends it was shipped in were damaged. The contents were all there, thankfully and an initial inspection seems to show no damage.
One thing to note: the newer awnings have the newer bracket types included that are preinstalled as “awning prep” that some RV companies like Forest River are providing on their campers, so there is no need to order the special bracket kit. This info should be added to the advertisement.
Love my solera slider topper. Keeps the slider clean and dry and the rubber gasket soft like new. After a year parked outside in the Florida sun it's still looking great!

Still working and in excellent condition.
This Solera slide out awning is well made and a good design making for a fairly simple and straightforward installation. Pretty much can install the unit with one person up to the point of slide the awning into the awning rail. The one issue I had, hence took one star away, was not enough awning rail screws were sent, I was short 11 screws, only sent 20. The instruction said to put a screw in very hole of the awning rail to camper attachment. So I drilled all the holes for that connection and then was short 11 screws to fill all the holes.

The slide out awning is still working like a charm. Stayed tight, does not bellow in the wind when traveling nor when extended. Lasting nicely.
Quite possibly the oddest shape package I have ever ordered, but Lippert (Solera), etrailer and the shipper all nailed it and the slide topper arrived unscathed and with all its parts. Regrettably, I was not as lucky when I attempted this order previously through Amazon...the delivery and return process was a disaster. Should have patronized etrailer from the beginning! Happy I figured it out the second time. My camper came prepped for the slide topper from the factory so the installation should be a breeze. Lastly, Aiden's DIY install video on YouTube on a 2022 Forest River is beyond spot on. I would like to request Aiden perform all DIY videos, posted anywhere, about any topic humans can conceive, from now until the end of time as we know it.

Awning was delivered with No shipping damage, looks to be in great shape and all parts are accounted for, will install after I remove 5th wheel out of storage

I received the 121" awning a few months in delay, but this was not etrailer's fault. They kept in constant contact with me and I appreciate that. The awning came on an 18 wheeler and the extruded channel had been bent slightly, but easily fixable. The hardware pack was good and wrapped up nicely. Overall, a great purchase and easy to install like 2 hours with a friend. Watch the video for the installation tips it's very helpful. Definitely worth it!
